StreamExchange soft launches in beta
A new B2B video content hosting and exchange portal launched in beta this week.
StreamExchange provides companies with a managed plug and play internet TV hosting and content service and launches with three initial core services - clip hosting and streaming, branded player creation and channel provision. The content exchange is expected to launch early next year and will enable easy content sharing and trading for clients in vertical markets.
StreamExchange.tv is powered by Telvos - the internet TV operating system created by Narrowstep. "It was essential for us to have a solid platform behind our managed streaming and hosting proposition", says Fiona Ryder CEO. "StreamExchange will be the place for b2b and b2b2c content sharing and syndication. Having proven technology to deliver high quality video content was a pre-requisite for the service"
StreamExchange is based in London and Norwich and was founded by Fiona Ryder and Frank Bowe. Ryder made a name for herself in the digital signage industry providing in-store audiovisual entertainment for a wealth of multi-national businesses including Topshop and Topman. She successfully sold her award winning company, Cube Music in 2006.
